How do I set all new clients to skilled nursing?

Service Type is set per client, not agency-wide: choose Skilled Nursing when you add the client, or Modify client to change one you already have.

Short answer

Service Type is set on each client, not for the whole agency, so there is no default to change. When you add a client, choose Skilled Nursing under Service Type. To switch a client you already have, open them, click Modify client and change Service Type. Avee can also change several clients for you; you approve the change before anything is saved.

  1. Add the client as usual.
  2. Under Service Type, choose Skilled Nursing.
  3. Save the client.

Good to know

  • Choices Standard Care (non-medical), Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy and Hospice.
  • OASIS is separate. Skilled Nursing does not turn on OASIS; that is its own setting.
