What is SPET01 or SPST01, and when does AveeCare add a Manual Claims Indicator?

When the office enters or changes a visit time or location by hand, AveeCare asks why and adds SPST01, SPET01, SPEV01 or EVSF01 to that ProviderOne line.

Short answer

When anyone in the office enters or changes a visit's start or end time or location by hand, AveeCare asks for the reason and puts the matching code on that ProviderOne line: SPST01 for the start, SPET01 for the end, SPEV01 when the caregiver could not use EVV at all, and EVSF01 for a system failure. Times and GPS the caregiver recorded in the app get no code. These questions only appear for agencies billing ProviderOne.

Good to know

  • Visit address instead of GPS When a caregiver taps Use visit address because the phone had no location, that location counts as entered by hand and needs a reason.
  • Forgot the reason? The line shows Record reason on Bill this period, so you can add it without changing the visit.
  • Kept for DSHS Each line keeps what was entered by hand, by whom and why. File history has Records report for a DSHS request.
