Where do I enter a caregiver SSSOP ID, and how do I make the ProviderOne roster file?

Caregiver profile, State program IDs, Add SSSOP ID; or Caregivers, Import SSSOP report. Make roster file fills the DSHS roster template for caregivers without one.

Short answer

With Washington turned on, every caregiver has a State program IDs section with Add SSSOP ID, and the add and edit caregiver forms ask for it too. To bring in many at once, open Caregivers and select Import SSSOP report, then drop in the report you exported from ProviderOne. For caregivers who do not have an ID yet, select Make roster file: AveeCare fills the DSHS roster template for you to upload in ProviderOne.

Step by step

  1. Open Caregivers and select Make roster file to see who still needs rostering.
  2. Answer the enrollment checklist and fill any missing SSN or date of birth the sheet asks for.
  3. Select Make roster file at the bottom of the sheet and upload the file in ProviderOne under Provider File Upload.
  4. When DSHS approves it, export the SSSOP report from ProviderOne.
  5. In Caregivers, select Import SSSOP report, check the matches and save.

Good to know

  • One ID per location Each SSSOP ID belongs to one of your location codes and has a start date. Lines before the start date are flagged before you build a file, because ProviderOne rejects them (error 92145).
  • New hires Adding a caregiver asks Add to my next roster file, on by default, so the next roster file includes them.
  • The roster file holds SSNs Only people allowed to see SSNs can make it, and AveeCare does not keep a copy of the file.
