Set a fixed-dollar share for one payer and let the remaining payers absorb whatever is left over. The cap is respected before anyone else is charged.

A payer plan does not force the family onto one payment method. One daughter's card gets charged, her brother gets an emailed invoice, and the third sibling still writes a check — all against the same visit.

The payer’s stored card is charged for their share automatically, with their own share invoice as the record.
Emailed invoice
The payer gets their own invoice by email, addressed to them, for their share only — not the whole visit.
Paid outside AveeCare
For the family member who writes a check, the share sits as Pending until your office marks it paid.
Payer plans are for private-pay arrangements between family members. Insurance and Medicaid claims run through insurance claims instead.
