Florida EVV overview
Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) administers the state Medicaid EVV program. Florida adopted the closed-model approach: Tellus / Netsmart is the state-contracted aggregator and provider system. All Florida Medicaid PCS / HHCS providers must submit EVV data through Tellus.
Providers can still use their own EHR for scheduling, billing, and care plan workflow — Tellus handles the EVV submission step. Most agencies in Florida use AveeCare or another EHR for the operational workflow and Tellus for EVV submission.
