A note from Calvin and Alex

We started AveeCare because we kept watching small home care agencies pay tens of thousands a year to software companies that didn't return their calls. The pricing did not make sense, the support did not show up, and their clients were treated as small, low-priority accounts.

So we built something different. We answer the phone. We give out our personal numbers. If something breaks after hours, one of us will be there for you. That's the job.

They had been open four months. A husband-and-wife team. They were getting clients through word of mouth but they were stuck at six patients and could not figure out how to get past it. We made introductions to the discharge planner at a local hospital and to two case managers in their county.

We do a lot of outreach. Our analytics partners send us a weekly list of new home care, home health, hospice, and palliative agencies that just opened their doors. We try to reach most of them. If you got an email or a call from us, that is the reason.

We are not selling. We are checking in to see if there is something we can help with. Most of the time it is EVV setup, getting your first clients, or making sure you actually show up on Google Maps when someone searches your service area.

The math we use is simple. When small agencies grow, they keep using us. They refer other agencies. We all do better. We do not need to take a huge cut of your revenue to win, so we don't.

You pay for the patients you are billing, on a card you do not add until you actually start adding patients. The first month is free. No card required to sign up. If you sign up and never bill anyone, we charge you nothing.

Built on infrastructure you can actually trust

AveeCare is HIPAA and HITECH compliant. We hold ourselves to a stricter version of those standards than the regulators are asking for, mostly because the cost of getting it wrong in this industry is enormous.

The platform runs on AWS with a disaggregated architecture. There is not a single failure point that takes the whole thing down. We push updates around the clock and most of them are invisible to you. The only outage messaging you ever see is the one we send proactively when we are working on something specific.

If your agency hits an error, we know about it before you do. Our error reporting flags it, routes it to whoever is on call, and we are usually fixing it before you finish writing the support ticket.
